Understanding the synergism of multiple non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs) in competing endogenous RNA (ceRNA) regulation can provide important insights into the mechanisms of malignant tumors caused by ncRNA regulation.
SCOMdb is a comprehensive and interactive web resource in 31 malignant tumors. Three types of synergistic competition information are collected in this database. (i) ceRNet: The long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) and pseudogenes related ceRNA regulation across malignant tumors. (ii) SCOMNet: The ncRNA synergistic competition across malignant tumors, including lncRNA-lncRNA, lncRNA-pseudogene and pseudogene-pseudogene synergistic competition. (iii) Hub: The hub ncRNAs (lncRNAs and pseudogenes) across malignant tumors.
All data can be downloaded for further analyses. SCOMdb can help to the research of ncRNA synergistic competition mechanisms in malignant tumors.
